In this class you will learn how to make French macarons along with pumpkin spice Swiss meringue buttercream. Through detailed demonstration and some hands on technique, this class makes the perfect gift for all the pumpkin spice nuts in your life. 

Each participant will leave with a detailed recipe packet and a few samples made in class.

Meet your instructor: Peach Betty (Chef Morgan)

As a baking and pastry graduate from Schoolcraft College, Morgan has been a professional pastry chef for over 14 years. She has worked in a variety of restaurants and bake shops including becoming the Culinary Lead at Sur la table. This is where Morgan fell in love with teaching. Through her classes she can show you the tips and tricks to remove the fears you might have about baking. One of Morgan’s inspirations for her recipes is through her extensive collection of vintage cookbooks. She believes that in order to create new inventive recipes you must understand the basics first.

Cancelation Policy:

We understand that things happen and you might not be able to make it to a class you had signed up for. If you know that you won’t be able to make it to your class please let us know as soon as possible. Cancelations two weeks before the class will be refunded in full. 7 days prior to the class we reserve a 30% fee for cancelations since we may not be able to fill your spot and ingredients for your seat may have already been purchased. Cancelations 48 hours prior to the class will be charged a 50% fee as we are unlikely to be able to fill your seat. No refunds will be issued for cancelations in the 24 hours prior to the class.

Minors:

We’re excited that you have a young baker that is interested in our classes! Our classes are structured with active participation and collaboration across the whole group of attendees. This means participants may be working with hot pans and sharp knives, and your may be working with other participants you just met. This can be a tough situation for many younger kids. Young adults 16 years and up may sign up for the class when accompanied by a guardian who is also taking the class. We may consider classes in the future designed specifically for younger participants and their guardians. Thank you for your understanding!
